Teenager charged over stabbing - Rouse Hill

A teenager has been charged after allegedly stabbing another teenager in Sydney's north west yesterday.

About 4.10pm (Thursday 18 March 2021), emergency services were called to the Metro Station at Rouse Hill following reports of a stabbing.

On arrival, officers attached to The Hills Police Area Command found a 16-year-old girl with injuries to her arm and chest.

The girl was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.

Following inquiries, officers arrested a 14-year-old girl who was taken to Castle Hill Police Station where she was charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

She was granted conditional bail and is due to appear before a children's court on Tuesday 23 March 2021.
