Teenager charged with 41 offences relating to steal from motor vehicles at Dubbo

A teenage boy has been charged with 41 offences following a string of steal from motor vehicles at Dubbo.

About 5.30pm (Friday 14 June 2019), it is alleged several youths entered the carpark of Dubbo Base Hospital to break into 13 vehicles.

Police attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District attended the location a short time later.

A 14-year-old boy was arrested several hours later and charged for unrelated matters before being released pending further inquiries.

On Friday 5 July 2019, an attempted break-in occurred at a hockey field in Dubbo.

Officers from Orana Mid-Western Police District made inquiries into both incidents.

About 7am Monday (8 July 2019), police attended an address in Dubbo and arrested a 14-year-old boy.

He was taken to Dubbo Police Station and charged with breach of bail, damage destroy property (x14), enter vehicle without consent (x13) and larceny (x13).

The boy was bail refused to appear before a Children's Court on Wednesday 10 July 2019.
