Teenager Stabbed During Brawl - Shalvey

A teenager is in critical condition after he was stabbed during a brawl in Sydney's west overnight.

About 10.40pm on Tuesday 6 January 2026, emergency services were called to an address on Sedgman Crescent, Shalvey, following reports a party of about 40 people had been underway before a brawl started in a driveway.

On arrival, officers attached to Mount Druitt Police Area Command located a 17-year-old boy with multiple stab wounds.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to hospital in a critical condition.

Officers from Public Order and Riot Squad, Operations Support Group, and the Dog Unit assisted with management of crowds who had remained at the location.

Police have established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the incident.

There have been no other reports of injuries and no arrests have been made at this time.
