Teenagers arrested after St Clair break-in, SA

Two teenagers have been arrested after allegedly breaking into houses in the St Clair area early this morning, according to SA Police.

About 5.10am on Monday 25 December, the occupant of an Actil Avenue home was awoken by the sound of their roller door opening and went to investigate. They found their home had just been broken into, with a handbag, cash, car keys and house keys stolen.

Police quickly searched the area with the assistance of Police Dog Ben and tracked the suspects to Torrens Road where they located two teenagers allegedly in possession of stolen property.

A 15-year-old boy from St Clair and an 18-year-old man from Ceduna were both arrested about 5.50am. They have been charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass. They will be refused police bail and expected to appear in court on Wednesday.

Police were able to recover all of the stolen items, including the cash.
