Teenagers Charged Over Carjacking At Enmore And Pursuit In Ingleburn

Three teenage boys have been charged in relation to a pursuit in Sydney's south west.

About 1.15pm today (Monday 13 October 2025), officers attached to Campbelltown City Police Area Command attempted to stop an allegedly stolen silver Kia Stonic on Azalea Place, Macquarie Fields.

When the vehicle allegedly failed to stop as directed, a pursuit was initiated.

The pursuit - with assistance from officers attached to Macarthur Highway Patrol, Polair and the Dog Unit. - continued towards the Minto and Ingleburn areas.

The vehicle stopped on Aero Road, Ingleburn, about 1.50pm where three teenage boys – two aged 16 and one aged 15 – ran from the scene but were arrested nearby on Lancaster Street and taken to Campbelltown Police Station.

It will be alleged that the vehicle was stolen whilst it was stopped on Tupper Street, Enmore, about 2am (Monday 13 October 2025) when the 19-year-old male driver was physically removed from the vehicle by the three teenagers and threatened with a knife. He was not injured.

Police will allege that the teenagers drove the vehicle from the location.

It will be further alleged that the 16-year-old boy was driving the vehicle during the pursuit and was unlicensed. He was charged with:

  • police pursuit - not stop - drive dangerously
  • drive recklessly/furiously or speed/manner dangerous
  • never licensed person drive vehicle on road
  • aggravated take/drive motor vehicle with person in/on it-in company

The other two boys were charged with aggravated take/drive motor vehicle with person in/on it-in company.

All three have been refused bail to appear at a children's court tomorrow (Tuesday 14 October 2025).

Investigations are ongoing.
