Teens charged over home invasion, NSW

Two teenage boys are due to appear in court today charged over an alleged home invasion at Macquarie Fields, NSW Police say.

Police allege the youths threatened three residents with a baseball bat after smashing the back door and entering the home in Bangalay Place, Macquarie Fields, about 11.30am yesterday (16 April 2017).

An argument continued before the teens left the scene.

Police from Macquarie Fields were called to the scene and established a crime scene.

A short time later, two youths were arrested and taken to Macquarie Fields Police Station where they were charged.

A 16-year-old boy has been charged with

• Aggravated break and enter with Intent while armed

• Armed with intent to commit indictable offence

• Stalk/intimidate.

A 15-year-old boy has been charged with

• Aggravated break and enter with Intent while armed

• Stalk/intimidate.

Both youths were bail refused to appear at a children’s court tomorrow.
