Teens stabbed at Menai skate park

A teenager has been arrested after two teens were stabbed at a skate park in Sydney's south today.

Just before 1.45pm (Sunday 26 May 2019), emergency services were called to a skate park on Allison Crescent at Menai, after reports a person had been injured.

Officers from Sutherland Police Area Command attended and found a 17-year-old male suffering stab wounds to his abdomen.

He was treated by paramedics and taken to St George Hospital for treatment. His injuries are not considered life threatening.

An 18-year-old man was arrested after attempting to flee. He has been taken to Sutherland Police Station.

A second male, aged 17, believed to have also been involved in the incident, has since attended St George Hospital for treatment for a minor laceration to his arm.

Inquiries into circumstance surrounding the incident continue.
