The Woodridge/Kingston Police Beat has officially relocated

Today, the Woodridge/Kingston Police Beat was formally relocated to Station Road, Logan Central and will now be known as the Woodridge Police Beat, Queensland Police say.

Logan District Officer, Chief Superintendent Martin Mickelson said the move was planned in consultation with members of the public, the business community as well as government agencies and was designed to better meet the needs of a growing community.

"The Queensland Police Service regularly reviews its resources with a view to improving service delivery to the community. Logan City has seen a lot of growth in recent years, the majority of which centres around the Station Road area in Logan Central."

"Although the police beat is physically changing location local residents can be assured they will experience no disruption to the policing services in their area. Indeed the move will place police resources in the best position to provide an enhanced community response," Chief Superintendent Mickelson said.

The Woodridge Police Beat is now located at 39 Station Road, Logan Central and police will be operating from that location seven days a week between 8am and  10pm.
