Theft at North Melbourne internet cafe

Police are appealing for public assistance following a theft at an internet café in North Melbourne last month.

Police have been told two unknown men entered the internet café on Victoria Street just after 7am on 24 June.

The offenders placed a Sony PS4 and a Phillips sound bar into a bag and were stopped by the shop attendant at the door.

They were asked to open their bag and refused before fleeing the scene.

Investigators have released images of two men in the hope that someone may recognise them.

Both males are described as Caucasian in appearance and aged in their 20s.

One male was wearing a white stripped jumper and dark shorts.

The second male was wearing a black jacket and dark blue jeans.
