Richmond police are appealing for assistance from the public following a theft at a chemist last week, Victoria Police say.
Investigators have been told a woman entered the store on Bridge Road, Richmond about 4.45pm on Tuesday 5 September.
Once inside the store the woman selected various vitamins and cosmetics and and hid them in her handbag.
The woman then left the store and made no effort to pay for the items.
Investigators have released an image of a woman who they believe can assist with their enquiries.
