Theft of motorcycle - Docklands

Police are investigating following the theft of a motorcycle in Docklands earlier this month, Victoria Police say.

It is believed an unknown man has ridden a motorcycle to an address on Siddeley Street and parked under an overpass on Saturday 1 October about 6.20pm.

The man was then seen sitting on two other motorcycles parked in the area before walking away with the victim’s motorcycle towards an alley between a building and car park.

It is believed the man has left the victim’s motorcycle in the alley before returning to his own motorcycle and leaving with it in the same direction.

The same man is then seen returning to the victim’s motorcycle about 10pm the same night and heading west on Siddeley Street with it.

The stolen motorcycle was located on Collins Street, Docklands on Thursday 6 October.

Police have released CCTV and images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

Anyone with any information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
