Theft of neon sign at Melbourne Central

Melbourne police are investigating a theft at the Melbourne Central shopping centre in April, Victoria Police say.

Investigators have been told a group of five males were seen on CCTV on level two of the shopping centre. One of the men has stolen a back lit neon sign from the wall of a restaurant around midnight on Monday, 24 April.

The group were then seen leaving the area and returning a short time later without the sign. The men appear to be aged in their 20’s.

Police have released images of five men they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
