Theft of porsche and deceptions in Melbourne

Melbourne Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance after a car was stolen from a secure car park in Lonsdale Street, Victoria Police say.

The white Porsche Cayenne was stolen from the car park by a man at approximately 7.10pm on 26 September.

It was later located dumped in Bayswater Road in Kensington on 28 September.

It’s believed the same man then broke into an apartment complex and stole luggage, a Citizen watch and a black Oroton handbag containing credit cards on 29 September.

He later used the stolen credit card to make purchases at a convenience store in Melbourne.

Investigators have released CCTV images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
