Theft of power tools at Taylors Lakes

Keilor Downs police are investigating following the theft of power tools from a hardware store in Taylors Lakes earlier in the month, Victoria Police say.

Investigators have been told two men entered the Melton Highway store on Friday, 5 May just before 8.30pm.

The men selected a chainsaw and a pressure washer from the shelf and placed the items in a trolley.

Both men then left the store, by a rear exit, failing to pay for the tools.

Investigators have released an image of the two men in the hope that someone can recognise them.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
