Theft of tools in Warragul

Warragul Police are investigating the theft of tools from a Warragul store last year.

Investigators have been told an unknown man attended the building and hardware store about 4.30pm on Wednesday 11 November.

The man attended the tool section and selected a number of power tools before he exited the store without attempting to pay.

The man was seen getting into a blue Hyundai Getz registered UJP912 being driven by a woman.

The Hyundai was later reported stolen and was used in other offences in the Sandringham and Mornington Peninsula areas.

The man is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, about 30-years-old, with a medium build and brown hair.

Investigators have release images of a man who they believe can assist with their enquiries.
