Thief uses stolen credit card from Point Cook burglary

Police are appealing for public assistance to identify a thief who used a stolen credit card from a burglary in Point Cook, Victoria Police say.

Police have been told a wallet containing a credit card was stolen during a burglary from a house in Point Cook between 5 January and 6 January.

The victim’s credit card was then used at a number of service stations and other businesses in South Melbourne, Port Melbourne, Melbourne CBD, Brooklyn, St Albans and Keilor.

Investigators have released two images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
