The victim’s credit card was then used the same morning at a convenience store on the corner of Wells Road and Edithvale Road in Aspendale Gardens just before 7am.

The offender purchased more than $100 of items and was last seen walking down Wells Road.

He is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged in his mid 20s, 180cm tall with a medium build.

He was wearing a grey hooded jumper with a black hood, black shorts and black runners.

Police have released an image of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
