Third man arrested over Norwood hit-run, SA

Today police arrested a man who is alleged to be the driver involved in a robbery and hit-run crash at Norwood earlier this month, according to SA Police.

At 5.45pm on Sunday 3 July, police and emergency services were called to George Street near The Parade intersection, after a white van allegedly ran down a man leaving him with serious injuries.

Police will allege that two men who fled the scene in the van stole the victim’s laptop computer prior to the collision.

On 5 July, a 28-year-old man from Aldinga Beach was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery, an aggravated count of causing serious harm, impeding an investigation, and failing to truly answer questions.

Investigators also arrested a 23-year-old man from Aldinga Beach on 4 July and charged him with impeding the investigation. Police will allege he assisted with the destruction of the white van used in the incident.

Today a third man, a 25-year-old Glenunga man was charged with aggravated robbery and an aggravated count of causing serious harm. He was refused bail and is expected to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court as soon as practicable.
