About 1.10pm on Saturday 9 April 2016, emergency services were called to Ilma Street, Condell Park, following reports of shots fired.

Two males believed to have been injured during the incident presented at hospital prior to the arrival of emergency services.

One of the men, aged 32, died in hospital; the second man, aged 35, remains at Liverpool Hospital in a serious condition.

Officers from Bankstown Local Area Command and the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad commenced an investigation.

Police will allege that he was the driver of the vehicle located at the hospital and he was later charged with conceal serious indictable offence.

He was refused bail to appear at Bankstown Local Court today.
