Third person charged in relation to woman's death, NSW

A woman has been charged by detectives investigating the disappearance of Allecha Suzette Boyd from Wagga Wagga, NSW Police say.

Allecha, aged 27, was last seen in the township of Coolamon on the afternoon of Thursday 10 August 2017.

Strike Force Amias, comprising detectives attached to Wagga Wagga Local Area Command, was established to investigate Allecha’s disappearance with officers suspecting she had met foul play.

Following extensive inquiries, strike force detectives arrested a 35-year-old woman at a Coolamon home yesterday (Sunday 25 November 2018).

She was taken to Wagga Wagga Police Station and charged with accessory after the fact to murder.

The woman was refused bail and will appear in Wagga Wagga Local Court today (Monday 26 November 2018).

Two men, then aged 37 and 19, remain before the courts in relation to Ms Boyd’s death.

Meanwhile, investigations are continuing with detectives working to locate Allecha’s body.

Detectives are appealing for any person with information to assist them to call Crime Stoppers.
