Third Teen Charged in Rouse Hill Stabbing Murder

Police have charged a third teen with murder following the alleged fatal stabbing of a boy in Sydney's northwest last month.

About 4.20pm on Monday 24 November 2025, emergency services were called to Bruce Purser Reserve on Caballo Street, Rouse Hill, following reports of a stabbing.

Officers attached to The Hills Police Area Command arrived to find a 17-year-old boy with a stab wound to his leg.

He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, he died at the scene.

Police established a crime scene, and detectives from The Hills – with assistance from State Crime Command's Homicide Squad – commenced an investigation under Strike Force Crawton.

As part of the investigation, strike force detectives charged two 15-year-old boys over their alleged roles in the fatal stabbing. They remain before the court.

Following further investigations, strike force detectives arrested a 15-year-old boy at a home in Rouse Hill, about 7.30am today (Tuesday 9 December 2025).

He was taken to Riverstone Police Station where he was charged with murder.

The teen was refused bail to appear before a children's court today (Tuesday 9 December 2025).
