Thornbury armed robbery

Detectives are investigating an armed robbery which occurred in Thornbury on Sunday night.

Investigators have been told three male offenders wearing yellow bandanas across their faces, entered a supermarket on High Street about 8.55pm.

The offenders approached two store attendants at the counter while brandishing weapons and making demands for the cash till to be opened.

The attendants opened the till and one of the offenders stole a quantity of money while the other offenders continued to brandish their weapons and threaten the attendants.

The three offenders then fled the store running north on High Street.

Offender 1 is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance and of medium build. He was wearing a black and green camouflage hoodie, black runners, black baseball cap, and black gloves.

Offender 2 is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, of thin build and possibly aged between twelve and sixteen years of age. He was wearing a light grey hoodie, grey shorts, black shoes and a black baseball cap.

Offender 3 is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, of medium build, wearing a black hoodie, black track suit pants, black runners, a white baseball cap and red gloves.
