Three arrested after Blair Athol pursuit, SA

Two men and a woman have been arrested following a pursuit at Blair Athol this morning, according to SA Police.

Just before 3.30am police spotted a white Ford ute doing a burnout in Lily Street.

Patrols attempted to stop the car and speak to the driver however he refused to stop.

Police pursued the car for a brief time through the backstreets of Blair Athol until it stopped on Trigg Street and the three occupants were arrested.

The driver, an 18-year-old man from Modbury was charged with misuse of a motor vehicle and engage in a police pursuit. One passenger, a 20-year-old man from Fairview Park, was charged with hindering police and the second passenger, a 20-year-old woman from Broadview, was reported for unrelated matters.

The two men were bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 6 June.
