Three arrested after break-in at Londonderry property, NSW

Three men are assisting with inquiries after an aggravated break and enter at a Londonderry house overnight, NSW Police say.

Emergency services were called to the house about 10.30pm (Friday 19 January 2018) after occupants were able to raise the alarm.

Police were told three men forced their way into the premises after a female occupant answered a knock at the door.

The woman and her husband were assaulted. It is alleged stole a quantity of personal property before leaving.

The occupants were assessed by NSW Ambulance [paramedics on site. No further medical treatment was required.

As a result of inquiries, police stopped a vehicle on Discovery Avenue at Wilmot. Three men were arrested and taken to St Marys Police Station.

Inquiries are continuing.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
