Three arrested after methyl-amphetamine located in car at Kilmore

Kilmore police have charged three people with drug offences after stopping to speak to two drivers acting suspiciously in Kilmore early on Thursday morning, Victoria Police say.

The two cars were spotted by police on the Northern Highway just after midnight.

A search of the vehicles resulted in police allegedly finding a quantity of methyl-amphetamine and a large amount of cash.

Three people, two women aged 22 and 27 and a 26-year old man have been charged with a number of offences which included traffick methyl-amphetamine and possess proceeds of crime.

The 27-year-old Seymour woman and the Yea man will appear at the Seymour Magistrates’ Court later this morning.

The third person, a Tallarook woman, will be dealt with by drug diversion.
