Three arrested after search at Pennington, SA

Three people have been arrested today after a search at a Pennington house uncovered drug paraphernalia, stolen property including a camper trailer and dangerous weapons, according to SA Police.

Just before 8am, officers from Western Adelaide Criminal Investigation Branch Tactical Unit, along with officers from the Special Tasks and Rescue Group and police search dogs went to a house in Harrison Road, and found a stolen camper trailer, weapons including a crossbow and handgun, equipment suspected of being used in the manufacture of illegal drugs and ammunition.

A 37-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman, both from Pennington were charged with taking part in the manufacture of a controlled substance, numerous firearms offences, unlawful possession and possess prohibited weapon. They have been refused bail and will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court tomorrow.

A 40-year-old Forreston man was charged with breaching his bail, and was bailed to appear in court at a later date.
