Three Boys Charged After Armed Robbery - Tregear

Two 11-year-old boys and a 12-year-old boy have been charged following an alleged armed robbery in Sydney's west.

About 4.15pm yesterday (Saturday 24 October 2026), police were told three boys entered a store in Aurora Drive, Tregear, and threatened an employee, a 55-year-old woman, with a hammer while demanding cash.

The group left the store and the employee was uninjured.

About 6:15pm on the same day, the same boys returned to the store and again demanded cash. A customer in the store intervened, and the boys again left the store.

Officers attached to Mount Druitt Police Area Command attended and located the boys in a nearby residential unit.

They were arrested and taken to Mount Druitt Station where one of the 11-year-old boys was charged with robbery whilst armed with offensive weapon/instrument.

The other two, one aged 11 and one aged 12, were charged with robbery in company.

All were refused bail to appear before a Children's Court today (Sunday 25 October 2026)
