Three charged after man assaulted, robbed in Waterloo

Three men are due to appear in court today charged over the alleged robbery of a man in Waterloo, NSW Police say.

It was about 3.40pm yesterday today, that a 46-year-old man entered a lift in a building on Morehead Street, Waterloo which contained the three males.

The man was allegedly head-butted by one of the men before another went through his pockets.

He told police the men took his cash, mobile phone, and cigarettes before leaving.

Police from Redfern Local Area Command attended the scene and, shortly before 8pm, three men were arrested.

They were taken to Redfern Police Station where they were charged.

• A 35-year-old man has been charged with robbery in company, and breach of bail,

• A 25-year-old man has been charged with robbery in company, and revocation of a parole warrant, and,

• A 31-year-old man has been charged with robbery in company.

All were refused bail and remanded to appear in Parramatta Bail Court today tomorrow.
