Three charged following road rage incident, NSW

Two men and a woman have been charged after an alleged road rage incident at Fairfield West yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 4pm today, two vehicles – a Toyota Camry and a Honda Jazz – were driving on Hamilton Road, when the two drivers became involved in an argument.

Travelling in the Toyota was the 32-year-old female driver, her 46-year-old husband, and their two children aged 6 and 8.

In the Honda was a 69-year-old female driver, her 18-year-old grandson and his girlfriend.

The man and woman from the Toyota got out of their car at the intersection of the Cumberland Highway, with the man allegedly arming himself with a screwdriver.

The 18-year-old from the Honda also got out and allegedly armed himself with a tyre iron.

The trio were involved in an altercation, in which left all three with minor injuries.

They were each issued with a Court Attendance Notice for affray.

The man and wife are due to appear before Fairfield Local Court on 24 July 2017, whilst the 18-year-old is scheduled to appear before the same court on 25 July 2017.
