Three charged over drug supply in Ulladulla

Three people will face court following an ongoing investigation into illicit drug supply on the state’s South Coast, NSW Police say.

Strike Force Dashi was established in February 2018 by South Coast Police District to investigative the supply of illicit drugs in the Ulladulla area.

Detectives, with assistance from Wollongong and Lake Illawarra Police Districts, the Dog Unit, and PolAir, executed search warrants at five homes in Ulladulla yesterday (Thursday 9 August 2018).

Police will allege during the searches they located 454g of methylamphetamine, over $50,000 cash, 18 cannabis plants, almost 7kg of cannabis, mobile phones, and ammunition.

A 31-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were arrested at a home on Ocean Street, and a 43-year-old man was arrested at a home on Golden Wattle Drive. They were taken to Ulladulla Police Station.

The 31-year-old man was charged with supply prohibited drug – large commercial quantity (x2), supply prohibited drug – commercial quantity (x3), Supply prohibited drug – indictable quantity (x3), Supply prohibited drug – small quantity (x2), and supply prohibited drug (x2).

He was refused bail to appear at Nowra Local Court today (Friday 10 August 2018).

The 17-year-old boy was charged with supply prohibited drug – large commercial quantity (x2), and supply prohibited drug – indictable quantity (x2).

He was refused bail to appear at a children’s court today (Friday 10 August 2018).

The 43-year-old man was charged with supply cannabis – indictable (x2), and cultivate prohibited plant.

He was granted strict conditional bail to appear at Milton Local Court on Thursday 13 September 2018.

Investigations are continuing.
