Three charged over train graffiti at Leppington, NSW

Police have arrested three men over allegedly spraying graffiti on trains at Leppington., NSW Police say

About 6pm yesterday, police received a report of four men allegedly spraying graffiti on a train at Leppington.

Officers attached to Police Transport Command Campbelltown, with the assistance of PolAir, Camden Local Area Command and Traffic & Highway Patrol Command commenced a search and arrested three men at Leppington Railway Station.

A search of the area located four backpacks containing spray cans, which police allege were linked to the incident.

The men were taken to Narellan Police Station.

Two men aged, 21 and 25, were charged with possess graffiti implement, go onto or into or remain on or in running lines, and intentionally mark premises without consent – aggravated.

They were both granted conditional bail to appear at Picton Local Court on Tuesday 25 July 2017.

A 22-year-old man was charged with possess graffiti implement, go onto or into or remain on or in running lines, and intentionally mark premises without consent – aggravated, and goods in personal custody suspected being stolen (x2).

He was granted conditional bail to appear at Picton Local Court on Thursday 27 July 2017.
