Three in custody after aggravated burglary in New Town

Three people are in custody following an aggravated burglary in New Town today.

Police responded to a report of an aggravated burglary of a home on Boa Vista Road, North Hobart, shortly after 11am today.

The police helicopter was deployed in support, and a timely and coordinated police response resulted in three people being arrested near the scene, including two youths, about 12.30pm.

Investigations are continuing and police are continuing their search for a fourth alleged offender.

He is described as being about 25 years of age, 180cm tall, wearing all black with a hood over his head.
