Three injured after bus crash in North Ryde

Three people have suffered minor injuries after a bus crashed into two houses in Sydney's north-west today, NSW Police say.

Just before midday today, a bus travelling west on Epping Road, North Ryde, left the roadway and mounted the kerb, travelling through the front yard of one home before hitting another two homes.

Two women in one of the houses suffered minor injuries and were taken to Royal North Shore Hospital for observation. A man in another house also suffered minor injuries but did not require treatment.

The male bus driver was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital for observation and mandatory blood and urine tests.

There were no passengers on the bus at the time of the crash.

Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash and ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers.
