Three injured in crash in Bilpin

Two adults and a child have sustained multiple injuries after their car hit a tree at Bilpin in the Hawkesbury area this morning, NSW Police say.

It was about 3.45am tomorrow, that the eastbound Commodore sedan left Bells Line of Road and struck a tree, trapping the three occupants.

Police from Hawkesbury Local Area Command called SES and RFS volunteers to the scene to assist in releasing the injured; they were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics.

The boy has been taken to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead with multiple injuries. He is described as being in a serious condition.

The female driver and her male front-seat passenger, have been taken to Westmead Hospital, also with multiple injuries; however, their injuries have been described as not life-threatening.

The ages and relationship of those involved are still being confirmed. It is believed they are all from Mt Druitt

Traffic on the Bells Line of Road will be disrupted for several hours as Crash Investigators examine the scene.
