Three injured in two-vehicle crash in South Wentworthville

Three people have been taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash in South Wentworthville, NSW Police say.

Around 9.10am today, emergency services were called to the corner of Berkeley Street and Hamilton Street in South Wentworthville following reports of a crash between a truck and a car.

Police arrived to find the car in the front yard of a house and the truck had struck a tree

The driver of the car, a 46 year-old woman, was treated at the scene by ambulance paramedics for a suspected fractured pelvis before being transported to Westmead Hospital. The passenger, a 17 year-old girl, was also taken to Westmead after complaining of abdominal pain.

The passenger of the truck, a 29 year-old man, was treated for a suspected fractured leg before being taken to Westmead Hospital.

The driver, a 29 year-old man, was not injured. He was subjected to a roadside breath test which returned a negative result.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stopers.
