Three injured, two fled scene after crash in Blacktown

An investigation is underway following a crash at Blacktown, NSW Police say.

Emergency services were called to Bungarribee Road about 3.20am (Sunday 25 March 2018), after a vehicle crashed into a power pole.

The vehicle caught alight after the impact.

Three males, believed to be aged in their 20s, have been taken to Westmead Hospital with serious injuries.

Two others fled the scene and a search is underway to locate them.

Officers from Blacktown Police Area Command and the Crash Investigation Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

The road is closed in both directions due to the dangerous position of the power pole.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
