Three men charged with stealing and intimidation offences, NSW

Three men have been charged after they allegedly attended to homes in western Sydney, threatening and assaulting the residents inside, NSW Police say.

About 8.45pm today, three men attended a home on Sabal Place, Beaumont Hills, where they allegedly threatened a resident and forced their way inside.

The men allegedly stole some electrical goods before leaving the location.

Shortly after, the trio attended a home on Merriville Road, Kellyville Ridge, where they allegedly threatened and assaulted the occupant of that house.

Police were called to the location, however the men fled the area.

Officers from Quakers Hill Local Area Command, with the assistance of the Police Dog Unit, conducted patrols of the area.

Shortly after, three men were arrested. The men were taken to Riverstone Police Station.

An 18-year-old man was charged with trespass, common assault and intimidation.

A 30-year-old man was charged with steal from dwelling, common assault and intimidation.

Both men were refused bail and will appear in Blacktown Local Court tomorrow.

The third man, aged 18, was charged with intimidation. He was granted conditional bail and will appear in Blacktown local Court on Monday 13 March 2017.
