Homicide Squad detectives have today arrested three more people as part of their investigation into the death of Chris Habiyakare in Sunshine North last year.
An 18-year-old Ascot Vale man was arrested in Docklands this morning, while a 21-year-old Tarneit man and a 20-year-old Keilor Downs man were arreste din Tarneit and Keilor Downs this afternoon.
All three will now be interviewed by police.
The arrests relate to the death of 24-year-old Chris Habiyakare at his Sunshine North home on 24 August, 2021.
Emergency services were called to a property on Essex Street following reports of an injured man about 8.35pm.
Paramedics provided medical treatment, but Chris died at the scene.
On 30 November, 2021 two men were arrested by Homicide Squad detectives in relation to this matter and both were subsequently charged with murder.
