Three youths arrested over Millswood break-ins, South Australia

Three teenage boys have been arrested after they allegedly broke into several homes in the Millswood area earlier today.

Just before 3.30pm on Sunday 10 March, police were called to Grantley Avenue after a resident reported seeing a teenage boy climbing through a bathroom window of their neighbour's home.

Southern District and Public Transport Safety Branch patrols converged on the area and confirmed the home had been broken into with several items of jewellery stolen while the home owners were out.

A search was conducted of surrounding streets located a three boys running along Mill Street near the tram line.

Two 15-year-olds and a 13-year-old boy, all from the western suburbs, were arrested and charged with three counts of aggravated serious criminal trespass and theft, after they were found to be in possession of stolen property from three homes.

They have all been bailed to appear in the Adelaide Youth Court at a later date.
