Ticket To Wellbeing Hottest Tickets In Town

Tasmanian Government

The Tasmanian Government's latest iteration of a nation-leading program helping older residents keep active has closed after all vouchers were snapped up.

The Ticket to Wellbeing program offers eligible Tasmanians aged 65 and over a $100 voucher to spend towards the cost of a sport and active recreation registration.

Minister for Sport, Nick Duigan, said the latest round of the Ticket to Wellbeing Program has been snapped up in just over 24 hours.

"As expected, we knew there was going to be huge interest in this round of Ticket to Wellbeing," Minister Duigan said.

Over 2500 vouchers have been claimed.

"Our Government is delivering for Tasmania, with the strong demand showing how beneficial Ticket to Wellbeing is to help Tasmanians stay active and connected," Minister Duigan said.

"We want the scheme to be more accessible to Tasmanians at a time that works for the sport they love, which is why the funding has been split into two rounds."

The Tasmanian Government will double the Ticket to Wellbeing Program from 2026-27, and extend it a further two years to 30 June 2028, meaning more Tasmanians keep active, connected and healthy.
