Tigers fans can now proudly parade their AFL Grand Final win down Punt Road with brand new 2019 AFL Premiership Custom Plates following the Tigers spectacular win over the GWS Giants.
Minister for Roads Jaala Pulford said special edition 2019 AFL Premiership plates are now available to purchase online for Richmond fans to show their fighting fury following their 89 point thrashing of the Giants on Saturday.
Premiership plates can be purchased for $695 and are exclusively designed to celebrate the winner of the AFL Grand Final each year. The Department of Transport's Custom Plates team have been releasing Premiership plates since the 2008 Grand Final.
The AFL Premiership custom plate launch comes after Richmond topped the Custom Plates AFL ladder in the 2018/19 financial year with the most plates purchased by dedicated Tigers supporters.
To support the launch of the 2019 Premiership plates, the Custom Plates team ran an AFL competition. One lucky fan was selected from more than 2,500 entries, winning tickets to the 2019 Toyota AFL Grand Final and a merchandise pack for their chosen team.
