Time to "Chemclear" out your unwanted agvet chemicals

AgForce members are encouraged to check farm storage sheds for unwanted agvet chemicals and register the products for collection.

The biennial Chemclear initiative is coming to Queensland again in July and August, helping producers safely dispose of leftover chemicals.

Chemclear is a sister stewardship program to drumMUSTER, and there is no fee for primary producers who want to dispose of all Group 1 products.

More than 178 tonnes of unwanted agvet chemicals have been collected from Queensland farms since the first collection in 2006.

Please register any unwanted products before 13 June, and make sure you note the product name, manufacturer, container size and remaining quantity.
