Tom and Meg Keneally visit Hawkesbury

Tom Keneally AO, prize winning author of Schindler's List and his eldest daughter, Meg Keneally, will be at Hawkesbury Central Library on Tuesday, 28 May from 6pm to 7:30pm to discuss The Ink Stain, their latest book in the Monsarrat series.

The book is set in colonial Sydney, and focuses on the centre of corruption in colonial Australia – Sydney. The story is set in the world of newspapers, focusing on the two protagonists Monsarrat and Mrs Mulrooney who are sent to investigate the corruption that may go right to the top – the office of the Governor of NSW.

This book is a fast-paced, witty and gripping historical crime novel and the series has been optioned to be made into a TV series by Meg and tom Keneallythe producers of the Dr Blake series.

The author talk will be $5 including refreshments and held at Hawkesbury Central Library, 300 George Street, Windsor. Copies of books will be available for purchase with Tom and Meg signing books after the talk.
