Stonnington Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance after nearly $75,000 of jewellery was stolen in a Toorak burglary last month.
Investigators have been told a home on Gordon Street was vacant between 26 August and 13 October.
During that time, two unknown men entered the property on what detectives believe were multiple occasions.
A number of custom-made pieces of jewellery was stolen, valued at an estimated $75,000.
On 3 October, the two men were captured on CCTV entering the property.
It's understood they stole a 2018 Volvo black wagon, which was recovered in South Melbourne on 8 October.
Police say the offenders forced entry via a window which was damaged during the burglary.
Investigators have released images of two men who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
The first male is described as Caucasian in appearance, with a medium build, approximately 30 - 40 years of age, dark short hair and had thinning hair towards the back of his head.
He was wearing a yellow high-vis vest.
The second male is described as Caucasian in appearance, with a medium build, approximately 20-30 years of age.
He was wearing an orange and blue high-vis long sleeve shirt and a backwards red cap.
Police are urging anyone who was in the area during these periods of time and saw anything suspicious, or alternatively, have CCTV footage of anyone entering the property, to contact Crime Stoppers.
Also anyone who can identify the man or with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
