Toowoomba artist explores love of nature, architecture

Toowoomba artist Nathaniel Kemp has unveiled a new body of work NK Alan ceramics and drawing at the Toowoomba Regional Art Gallery, which is on display until 23 August 2020.

Nathaniel said his solo exhibition highlighted the relationship between nature and constructed architecture and presented a visual journey into his creative process.

The artist said he focused significantly on the bunya pine, as well as Queensland and western architecture.

"I find beauty in the structure of the bunya pine tree and its cones and this fuels my obsession," he said.
