Townhouse Fire, Coomera

Police are investigating after a fire destroyed two cars and damaged three townhouses in Coomera overnight.

Emergency services were called to the Foreshore Street complex around 12.20am.

A large fire had started in a carport and spread to the attached townhouse.

Several townhouses were evacuated as a precaution.

Crews were able to extinguish the fire, however three townhouses were damaged.

Investigations are ongoing, although the fire is not considered suspicious.
