A series of video tutorials is now available to help Australian businesses trace recycled content in their supply chains.
Tracking recycled content helps organisations:
- prove that materials are truly recycled
- show where materials come from
- build supply chain trust.
Alongside the seven videos, there is also a written guide. The guide explains each step in more detail and gives extra examples.
By using recycled content traceability, organisations support Australia's move towards a circular economy. Australia aims to double circularity by 2035.
The tutorials follow the National Framework for Recycled Content Traceability. This voluntary framework:
- gives practical advice on how to collect, share and check information about recycled materials
- supports the National Waste Policy Action Plan, which aims to increase recycled content use by both government and industry.
