Police are investigating the theft of a large collection of trading cards and a guitar from a property near Deloraine.
Occupants of the property reported to police a large collection of the Magic: The Gathering fantasy trading cards have been stolen from a storage chest, with the burglary having taken place some time during a 12-month period.
The private collection, which includes up to 400,000 cards including a number of rare and high value cards, is estimated to have a potentially significant monetary value.
In addition to the cards, a valuable Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster electric guitar, housed in a brown case, (pictured) was also taken.
Police urge anyone who may have information regarding the items, or is aware of suspicious activity around properties in the Deloraine area, to contact Tasmania Police.
