Police are currently at the scene of a fatal crash in Trafalgar South, Victoria Police say.
Investigators believe a Toyota ute was travelling south along the Mirboo North-Trafalgar Road about 10am this morning.
The car left the road, and crashed into a tree and caught fire.
A man, believed to be in his 60s, died at the scene.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or has any information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
