NSW Police are advising the local community there may be an increase in traffic around the Goulburn Police Academy ahead of this week's attestation parade.
More than 3000 people are expected to attend the ceremony on Friday 22 August 2025.
NSW Police Academy Commander, Chief Superintendent John Klepczarek said a high-visibility traffic operation will be in place for the duration of the event.
"General duties officers from the local area will be assisted by officers from Traffic and Highway Patrol Command to minimise the traffic impact on the local community."
"Event guests and the wider community are encouraged to plan their trips into the Goulburn CBD to avoid significant delays."
Increased traffic is expected on Friday between 7am and 10am and between 11.30am and 1pm on roads surrounding the Academy, including Sydney Road, Union Street, Tarlo Street, Middle Arm Road and McDermott Drive.
